The Ancient Advisor was born from a quiet craving for something real—something still, steady, and grounding in a world built on noise.

What started as a personal collection of Stoic quotes pinned to my studio wall became this project: high-quality prints designed to speak softly but stay with you. Whether it's Seneca, Epictetus, or Marcus Aurelius, these words have lasted centuries for a reason. They're reminders—not rules. Anchors, not answers.

Why Stoicism?

Because it’s timeless.
Because it doesn’t shout.
Because on days when nothing makes sense, it reminds you that you still get to choose how you respond.

Who’s behind this?

Just one person, really. I’m a designer, reader, and overthinker living in Aotearoa New Zealand. I started this store not because I had it all figured out—but because I didn’t. I kept coming back to these quotes when I needed a compass. So I printed them. And now I’m sharing them.
